Today I would like to show off my first ever crocheted jumper. Made for my baby girl in silky coral yarn, I think it was Rico but I am not sure as it was completed long time ago.
Cutie’s Hoodie was done following very simple pattern I found in my favourite magazine Women’s Weekly Knitting & Crochet. It has lots to offer, patterns for beginners and advanced, tips and tricks, makes for women, babies or home. You name it, it’s there!
Without further ado: Cutie’s Hoodie 🙂
I must say I am very proud of this make and will definitely make it again and again in bigger sizes. It was super easy yet the effect is so gorgeous that lots of people complimented it. What do you think?
I am happy to present one of my first projects: baby jumper made for my son. I followed Drops pattern “McDreamy” available here.
I used cheap baby soft yarn available in my local shop (like the one here) as I was not sure of the outcome of the pattern. It came out really lovely, so if I ever knit this again I will definitely go for high quality cashmere merino, like this.
The baby jumper has textured pattern and raglan sleeve. It is done from bottom to top. As I don’t enjoy sewing finished pieces I used circular needles for body and sleeves. It was a bit tricky joining it all together and working through yolk, it was challenging my patience every minute, but it was all worth it. I had only small sewing to do under arms. To finish, I used wooden painted buttons, ordered from here. I absolutely love these buttons and use them whenever I can as they come in different patterns and colors.
What do you think of this jumper? Do I get thumbs up?
